***NOTICE: Our online permitting and inspection scheduling systems will be undergoing maintenance Wednesday, July 3, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. We apologize for any inconvenience.***

Effective June 24, 2024, the Pinellas County Construction Licensing Board (PCCLB) will no longer monitor state-certified contractors' insurance.
- Please send your current certificates of insurance listing the City of Clearwater as the certificate holder to epermit@myclearwater.com
- For those state-certified contractors exempt from Workers' Compensation insurance please provide the exemption certificate as well.
- Should the Workers' Compensation insurance be written by a company outside of the state of Florida, it must include "Valid in Florida" on the certificate.
- For those state-certified contractors working on or over water you must also provide United States Longshore & Harbor (USL&H) insurance.
The certificate holder should read as follows:
City of Clearwater, Planning & Development
    100 S. Myrtle Avenue
    Clearwater, FL 33756

We have received an influx of permit applications recently, and we appreciate your patience while we review them. Our team is working hard to get back to you as quickly as possible. We continue to strive to meet our target times for plan review, but currently some are taking longer so some target review times have been extended.
